Will joined the Quest Student Life team in 2014. As an Ontario certified teacher, Will is very impressed by the educational model and philosophy at Quest and is excited about becoming an active member of its community.
He spent the three years prior to Quest teaching at the Canadian International School in Vietnam, where he was privileged to work with students from Vietnam and other nationalities. He became an active member in the local Vietnamese community in a variety of ways, including coordinating programs for a local orphanage and promoting the Ho Chi Minh City Terry Fox Run. Before living in Vietnam, Will spent a year teaching on the beautiful island of Antigua, where he was part of a team that created the first Special Needs program on the island.
Though originally from Guelph, Ontario, moving to Squamish will be somewhat of a homecoming for Will, as he spent five summers working at Easter Seals Camp Squamish for children with disabilities. He became the coordinator of Camp Squamish from 2007 to 2009, and discovered a passion for supporting, leading and mentoring a staff of young and enthusiastic adults.
Will’s greatest passions are traveling and seeking adventure. He has traveled to over 35 countries and done international volunteer projects in Costa Rica, Tanzania and Namibia. He loves playing sports, music and the outdoors. He feels privileged to move back to Squamish where he can pursue his many different outdoor interests.
