How do narratives inspire and connect people? The sharing of human experiences through art has the power to inspire and connect people. Rooted in fields of anthropology and creative writing, my studies at Quest focussed on the connection between people and their social, cultural, economic and political systems. For my Keystone I created a free verse poetry collection about coronavirus, home and belonging, food, travel and the body. In this presentation, I focus on personal poetry written about coronavirus highlighting how the sharing of experiences has the power to bring people together.
