Adrienne’s Question: What is the power of language?
Keystone Title: From Mundane to Meaningful in Modern America: The prose style of David Foster Wallace
Abstract: Using a literary method of deep analysis, this Keystone examines the work of American Author David Foster Wallace. In the project, the use of narrative voice, linguistic choices, cultural references and comparisons, and the transformation of trivial details in Wallace’s writing are analyzed. This work concludes that Wallace’s writing provides an insight into important truths of American life.
