Tyler Heilman Memorial Colloquium with Dr. Glyn Williams-Jones
Come and hear a world-renowned expert discuss the Mt. Meager Volcanic Complex including its history, current research, geohazards, and new monitoring initiatives. Dr. Glyn Williams-Jones is a professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at SFU and co-director of the Centre for Natural Hazards Research.
About the Tyler Heilman Memorial Colloquium:
Tyler Heilman graduated from Quest University in May 2015. He was 22 years old when he died tragically in a climbing accident. In memory of Tyler, who was a Summer Fellow, his family and friends created the Tyler Heilman Memorial Fund, administered by the Quest Fellowship Program, which sponsors the annual Colloquium.
