Eric is a founding faculty member at Quest and teaches a variety of courses including Cornerstone, Question, Rhetoric, Democracy and Justice, Political Economy, and concentration courses in politics.

Originally from New York, Eric spent 16 years at Loyola University New Orleans as a professor of political science. He has also studied and conducted research at Warwick University in the UK and at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy, and taught at Concordia University in Montreal. He has also lived in Spain, France and Chile.

The author of two books and numerous journal articles, Eric’s research is focused mainly on contemporary political theory and political education.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, tennis, Iberian and South American literature, world music, foreign languages and good conversation.
