Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
Trevor Mannion discovered Quest in 2007 and fell in love with the idea of designing his own education. When the time came to make decisions about universities in the fall of 2010, it was a no-brainer for him. Trevor graduated from Quest in April of 2014, and joined the Admissions team not long after.
His academics focused on business and both environmental and financial sustainability, with his Question, “How can businesses be sustainable?” With this question, he was able to explore the environmental and economic impacts of both large and small outdoor education based businesses. Trevor took courses on a wide variety of topics including photography, marine zoology, economics, and even backcountry and avalanche safety.
Trevor participated in many facets of school life during his time at Quest. He was an active member of the Students’ Representative Council, being the Minister of Finance for two years. During this time, he was responsible for re-organizing the entire financial system of the Student Association along with providing insight and an active voice for student issues and initiatives. He was also an active member of the Adventure Club among other activities.
Trevor enjoys spending his free time outdoors, whether it is camping on the coast of Vancouver Island, skiing powder at Whistler Blackcomb, or kayaking the shores of Howe Sound.
