Counselling + CARE Team

Counselling

Campus counsellors offer professional and confidential appointments. Students can conveniently book an appointment for all types of concerns, from depression to roommate conflict resolution, and more.

To accommodate busy schedules, some evening appointments are available. Our counsellors also offer pre-arrival sessions for incoming students.

Visit the Health & Wellness page in the Portal for resources including a counselling ‘frequently asked questions’, meditation and relaxation techniques, addictions and mental health links, and what to do if you are worried about yourself or a friend.

CARE Team

The CAmpus REsponse Team promotes health and safety at Quest. While interacting on campus, you may be confronted by a student displaying concerning behavior, indicating serious distress, creating a disruption to campus, or posing a safety concern. The CARE Team is designed to assist those in need.

The CARE Team committee includes:

  • Director, Health and Wellness
  • Manager, Student Success
  • Manager, Residence Life
  • Faculty and/or Campus Security (and other resources if necessary)

How to Make a CARE Team Referral:

CARE Team Referrals can be made by emailing Care Team.

If you have immediate safety concerns about any member of the Quest community, please contact the 24-hour Student Life Emergency Phone at 604.389.8089. You may also call Campus Security at 604.898.8086.

If a life-threatening situation is suspected, call 911.
