What Is a Home? How can we make homes more accessible and personal? To me, home is a shelter that evokes a sense of belongingness. However, we must also prioritize affordability and environmental consciousness to promote sustainability. I connected my personal and academic life by creating a home that fulfills these criteria while fostering a sense of belonging. I propose two designs for a housing solution aimed at young immigrants. I approached the design from my own context, recognizing that everyone’s idea of home is unique. Housing solutions must be approached from a multidisciplinary perspective as they significantly impact individuals’ lives worldwide.
