
Why is it that most of the world’s knowledge being churned out by the academic giga-machine is never seen by most of the world? More so, never even conceptualized? In an ever evolving and shifting landscape of scientific inquiry, how do we adapt our academic disciplines so that they may have the most effective impact for the collective good, whilst dismantling the damaging systemic structures that are holding them back? Utilizing my fields of psychology and sociology as a vehicle to explore these questions, I invite you to take a look at the state of ourselves and how we may best apply our resources for the sake of progress.
