In this presentation, I will be sharing my Keystone project entitled That’s Me on the Mountain; Investigations of Peoples’ Relationships with Mt. Tamalpais. That’s Me on the Mountain is a zine that I curated and wrote that includes art submissions and interview analysis to tell the stories of fifteen contributors’ relationships with Mt. Tamalpais. In my presentation, I will introduce Mt. Tamalpais, situate it within my studies of nature and then give the viewer a preview of my zine. In the zine preview, I will unpack some examples of analysis of the interviews and art, and explain how this content connects to how we view nature in Western society.
