What is the evolution of business? The majority of surf wax contains petroleum-based products. The ecologically responsible alternatives do not work as well as petroleum waxes. If surfing is to become more eco-responsible as a sport, this dilemma should be addressed. I have developed two functional wax formulas that source ecologically responsible ingredients. In addition, I have created a business concept that seeks to support the Vancouver Island industry and address particular needs within the  Island’s surf culture. In developing this product and business, I plan to help Vancouver Island surf communities thrive while reducing the impact of surfing on the environment.
