| How can externally-sourced emergency medicine best serve areas in crisis? The field of crisis response is extensive, but ultimately connects back to the overall effort to better health and prevent harm. My own research on the role of medicine in disaster response has often mixed with research on the role of public health efforts – ultimately the focus of this Keystone. This presentation aims to explore and define public health. Through this I highlight the role of leadership and education in fostering trust and creating effective public health efforts, and how this sector impacts each of us on a daily basis. |
