Teresa Vander Meer-Chasse (b. 1992) is a proud member of the White River First Nation of Beaver Creek, Yukon. Her beadwork is inspired by the strong women and the support of the caring men in her life. Teresa defines herself as an Upper Tanana visual artist, incorporating her culture in all the work she creates.
While in residence at Quest, Teresa taught Beadwork and Social Activism (HUM 3396). Join us in hearing about Teresa’s experience here at Quest as well as her artwork and how she hopes to make an impact through beadwork.
