Quest’s philosophy is simple – education, in its truest form, comes from asking insightful questions. We started with a blank slate and created a university to challenge traditional undergraduate education and go beyond a degree. We focus on asking questions, instead of simply reciting answers.
We learn from a variety of disciplines and perspectives so we can think critically when approaching problems. We emphasize learning, not just getting a degree. We are curious about the world, not just one discipline. We are motivated by the challenges we face in the 21st century, and we aim to be innovative, collaborative, and creative to overcome those challenges. Our students take initiative when it comes to research and innovative thinking. For example two students created a new academic conference at Quest called Our Futures, we hosted a TEDxQuestU, and students also created a peer-reviewed academic journal called Momenta.
