What makes up the world around us and how do we know it’s there?
Our understanding of the answers to these questions lies in the conceptual pillars of quantum mechanics and relativity. While these theories may seem non-intuitive, they provide an astonishingly beautiful explanation of the world around us.
In this talk, we’ll explain how some of the phenomena around us come from these two theories of the natural world and present some of the ways these theories are being tested.
