Manager, Administrative Operations


Taryn has worked in various administrative roles over the past 18 years, beginning her journey as the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of Muskoka Woods, a premier youth resort in Rosseau, Ontario. She went on to work in the HR department there interviewing and hiring 350 summer staff and enjoyed the variety of living in Toronto during the year and up in Muskoka for the summer. She moved out to Abbotsford, BC in July of 2015 and began working as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of External Relations at Trinity Western University.

Most recently, she worked as Operations Manager at Tundra Developments Inc., a custom home builder in the Fraser Valley. There her role encompassed not only the daily operation of the office team, but also client communication, HR, social media and events. It was a challenging and exciting role that stretched her and provided excellent training in new areas that she had not previously worked.

Taryn highly values team work and collaboration and excels at ensuring a high level of organization and attention to detail is brought to any task. She enjoys working in the community and has sat on the planning committees for TedX events and fundraising galas.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking the many trails in this beautiful province, travel, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
