As Canada's first independent, not-for-profit university of the liberal arts and sciences, Quest amalgamates some of the best historical practices in education with unique innovations, which make it the only university of its kind in Canada.

• Quest offers only one degree, the interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts and Science.
• Classes run on a Block Plan, that's one course at a time for 3.5 weeks.
• Faculty teach discussion-based seminar classes to no more than 20 students in each course.
• The mountains of beautiful Squamish, BC offer endless inspiration and activities; students hike, bike, rock climb, ski, and explore the beautiful temperate rainforests surrounding campus.
• Quest's program consists of two Foundation Years focused on a common curriculum of 16 arts & sciences courses, followed by two Concentration Years in which students plan their own course of study.
